Weekend fun

Well, we had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday we went shopping in the morning then after naps in the afternoon our friend Vicki called to see if we wanted to go swimming at the State Park. Once we got there though they would not let us in because there were not enough life guards for the amount of people. We ended up going back to Vickis and the kids got to play in the little pool. They had so much fun going back and forth from the pool to the sand box. They were a mess. I gave them a bath outside with the hose. They love that.
On Sunday we decided to try the State Park swimming pool again. We got in that time and had fun until Bryce had swallowed too much pool water and threw up in the pool and they kicked everyone out. Thanks Bryce. After that we played in the kiddie pool for a few minutes but it was way past nap time and Sage was freaking out over silly little things so we left.
I got a little sunburned, and Bryce got is cheeks and shoulders sunburned but other than that we did pretty good.

New shoes

I got Sage her first pair of Crocs yesterday. They are so cute. Unfortunately they are a little bit big for her. I got her the 6/7's because I was afraid that the 4/5's would be to small but they are just too big. Here is a pic of what the shoes look like. Tonight I will try to take a pic of them on her.

We went to the pioneer day picnic last night. I was so excited to go because even though I am not in Utah I still like to celebrate pioneer day. It was a little bit disappointing. There was less than fifty people there from all three wards. There was only one other family from my own ward. Not even the bishop showed up. I am glad that at least the kids had fun. There was a park there and of course they both enjoyed getting to run free.

Here it goes!!

Well, I guess it is about time I climb on this bandwagon. I have heard blogs described as basically online journals and since I am not very good at keeping a written journal hopefully I can be a little bit better at doing this. Not only with this be a good way for the extended family to keep up with what is going on with us down here in TX, it will also be a good way for daddy to keep up with us while he is away. Now the next thing I need to do is take a few new pics of the kids and get them added.
Until next time....
